Whole Fresh Brill is a delicious flat fish which we think its highly under-rated. Not as popular or well known as Turbot, but Brill fish is usually great value for money and many prefer it for its sweet, delicate flavour.
Caught from the UK South West Coast waters, our fresh Whole Brill are hand prepared by our fishmonger and supplied pan or oven ready direct to your door. Simply place the whole 500g -1kg fresh Brill into a large roasting pan, splash with olive oil and roast in the oven for around 20-30 mins (see our recipe section for more detail). This whole roast Brill fish is ideal to share and makes a great family weekend roast.
Whole Fresh Brill Fish is available all year round.
Order our Whole Fresh Brill Fish by Wednesday for an alternative Sunday roast, with free weekday delivery available.
Brill and Octopus Tentacles with Oyster Sauce by Tomas Lidakevicius
Roasted Brill with Green Peppercorn & Caper Sauce
A great sauce to serve with whole prime fish, we use brill in this recipe, but dover sole, turbot and lemon sole would marry equally well.
