Q: Is all your seafood sustainably caught
A: Yes, we practice sustainable sourcing. We feel it is our responsibility as a business to help preserve and enhance the health of our oceans and encourage responsible aquaculture, to ensure that future generations will continue to enjoy eating fish and seafood. Read more.

Q: Where do you get your seafood from
A: The majority of our fish is sourced via the South West coast through our experienced wholesale team based at Brixham Market. We support local fishermen and pride ourselves on knowing exactly where all our fish comes from, right down to the boat that landed it that day.

Q: How do I split the lobster?
A: Place the lobster on a cutting board with its belly side up and tail closest to you. Hold down its tail with one hand; using a sharp knife, start at the center of the lobster where the tail meets the body and cut in half lengthwise. Rotate the lobster so that the head is closest to you; repeat, cutting through its body and head.

Q: Do your oysters come shucked
A: We don't offer our oysters shucked as it would shorten the use by date and make them harder to transport. We sell oysters knives online for shucking your oysters at home. If it's your first time watch this quick 'how to' video by co-founder Robin Hancock (shucking at 2:00) click here.

Q: Can I store my oysters in the fridge
A: Yes, your oysters will come packaged in a dozen box which can easily be stored in your fridge. No need to remove them from this.

Q: How long will my oysters last in the fridge
A: Please consume oysters according to use by date or within 2 days of delivery for optimum freshness.
