Mackerel is easily identified by its bright silver skin, tiger-like stripes and distinctive taste. An oily fish, it's incredibly high in heart friendly Omega-3s and Vitamin D making it a great addition to your weekly diet. Our Mackerel is sustainably hook and line-caught from boats on the South West Coast and delivered to you fresh. Highly rated by the Cornwall Seafood Guide as one of the most sustainable fish in the sea.
Available in a pack of two whole fish (scaled and gutted) they are great on the BBQ, or simply cook in olive oil and/or knob of butter in a frying pan or on the grill. As Mackerel has a stronger taste compared to most fish, they often balance well with sweet and softer flavours such as beetroot or cucumber.
